A Courtyard Garden

This shady courtyard garden in Knightsbridge, surrounded by high wall and buildings, was transformed from a gloomy over grown space to a bright contemporary courtyard through the use of light coloured sawn sandstone paving.

The raised beds of London stocks keep the relationship with the house and the garden lights mean that garden and wall sculpture can be enjoyed in the evenings as well as during the day.

In this small space planting is designed for year round colour and interest, and to make the most of the changing light conditions.
